Today I had the privilege of speaking with the owner of, one a Valparaiso’s hottest restaurants, Radius. While Radius has only been around for two years, Chris Pavlou is no newbie to the restaurant game. He has owned thirteen restaurants throughout his career and currently owns two others, in Hebron and Crown Point. Radius offers gourmet American cuisine, while offering “a friendly, relaxed, atmosphere”. Chris mentioned that the Redenbacher is the most ordered item, and frankly, who wouldn’t order a burger that is topped with Mac?!?! He says that any burger on the menu is sure to satisfy. If burgers are not your thing, the ribs never disappoint. They are also known for their Custom Bloody Mary’s, these can be a meal on their own. You can grab one of these for only $5 on Tuesdays or a ½ priced appetizer and bottle of wine on a Thursday. When I asked what makes Radius special from other restaurants in the area, Chris said, “They have great service, great food, and great prices. This is a place for a family dinner or a night out with your friends. This is a place where you can come have a great meal and enjoy yourself. The staff cares about creating an atmosphere where you can come relax and enjoy. “Further Chris stated, “I care about my customers, I’m here. I give personal service. We offer real food and real people.
