Welcome to my new blog, highlighting all the wonderful things Northwest Indiana has to offer. My name is Brandy Bryan. I am a wife, mother, essential oil lover, and real estate agent. The picture above is my family, and they are my world! I LOVE “The Region” and there is no place I would rather live. When I say this, people often look at me with a strange look. They look as if they are trying to evaluate if I have ever traveled anywhere outside of this area before. I then assure them of all the great places I have been, and that yes, those would be very nice places to live as well. However….we are 5-25 min(depending what city) away from, in my opinion, the best perk of this area the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. We are 20-30 min away from being out in the country, where you can’t hear any traffic. We are minutes away from so many towns, that all have their own unique character, shops and eateries. We have fabulous school systems, a healthy job market, and lastly, 45 min from downtown Chicago. Northwest Indiana, Specifically “The Region”, is the best place to live. So follow this blog as I dig into all the hidden, some not so hidden, gems that make this area so special. The reasons my family and I choose to live here when we could live anywhere else in the entire world. Along the way I’ll highlight some hot neighborhoods, popular restaurants, tips for moving, school stats, fun festivals and much much more.
